Welcome...
The National Association of Institutional
Agribusiness (NAIA) is the professional association for those
employed in correctional agriculture. Our objective is to sponsor discussion of mutual problems, ways to help inmates learn skills and work habits to become successful at re-entry back into society and other activities designed for the contributions of institutional farms to both the treatment of inmates and the economy of the respective agencies. While many people believe food comes from the grocery store or restaurants we know the hard work needed to produce that food in the agricultural industry. We also know that having a steady job and meaningful work can lead to a better outlook on life and provide good habits and skills, especially for incarcerated individuals. We also believe that providing jobs for inmates is to their advantage and betterment and in addition the overall security and harmony of an institution. 2025 NAIA Conference -September 8 to 12, 2025 in Hot Springs, AR---- Registration packet will be coming in the future.
